Who we are
DueDate keeps one timeline of the document and service dates in a household, such as passports, driving licences, MOTs, insurance and vehicle tax, and reminds you before they run out. It is published by Hemiogenic Interactive ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
What stays on your phone
Everything you enter is stored only in the app's private storage on your device: the document types, names and expiry dates you add, your reminder choices, your country setting and any document photos you attach. We have no server that receives this data, and the app does not create an account.
- Photos are chosen through your phone's system photo picker, so the app does not need access to your photo library. A photo you attach is encrypted on the device with a key kept in the phone's secure key storage.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone. We do not use push notifications, and nothing is sent to a server to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time; the rest of the app keeps working.
- Backup is off on Android, including device-to-device transfer, so your records do not leave the phone through a backup. A new phone starts empty.
- Export happens only when you choose it. The PDF export creates a file of your dates (without photos) and opens your phone's share sheet; you decide where it goes.
What we do not collect
DueDate contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash-reporting tools. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location or advertising identifier. Guide links open official websites in your phone's browser; those sites have their own privacy policies.
Purchases (RevenueCat)
DueDate is free for a small number of dates, with a one-time unlock for more. Payment is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. To manage the unlock, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., a purchase-management service. Only when purchases are enabled in the app, it contacts RevenueCat when the app starts (to check whether the unlock is active) and when you buy or restore; it also asks for the store price when you open the unlock screen. RevenueCat processes your purchase details (such as the product, transaction and date) and an anonymous app user ID generated by the app. It does not receive your dates, names or photos. This information is used only to unlock the app and to let you restore your purchase; it is not used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and the privacy policy of your app store.
Your choices & deletion
You can edit or delete any date. Settings → Delete all data removes every date, photo, photo key and scheduled reminder from the phone. Uninstalling the app also removes its data. Because we hold none of your records, there is nothing for us to delete on a server. Purchase records kept by the app store and RevenueCat are governed by their own policies.
Children
DueDate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version at this address before it takes effect.
