Acceptance
By using DueDate you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What DueDate is, and is not
DueDate, published by Hemiogenic Interactive ("we", "us"), is a personal reminder tool. You enter the expiry and renewal dates of your documents and services, and it shows what is due next and sends local reminders before those dates.
Guides and links
The renewal guides in the app are short summaries checked against official websites on the date shown, and they link to those websites. They are general information, not legal or professional advice, and they may be out of date by the time you read them. The official source always takes priority.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled by your phone's operating system. They can arrive late or not at all if notifications are turned off, the phone is switched off, battery-saving settings delay them, or the app's data is deleted. DueDate is an aid to memory: you remain responsible for renewing your documents and services on time. We are not responsible for fines, lapses, refused travel or other losses from a missed or late reminder or a wrong date.
Your data
Your records stay on your device, and phone backup is turned off for the app. If you lose or reset your phone, uninstall the app or use Delete all data, your records are gone and we cannot recover them. Use the PDF export if you want your own copy. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The one-time unlock
DueDate is free for a small number of dates. A one-time in-app purchase removes that limit. It is not a subscription. The price is shown by the App Store or Google Play before you pay, and payment, refunds and receipts are handled by that store under its own terms. You can restore an earlier purchase on the same store account from Settings → Restore purchase.
No warranty / liability
DueDate is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, missed or delayed reminders, the content of guides or linked websites, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version at this address before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
