What Proof is
Proof, published by Hemiogenic Interactive ("we", "us"), is a personal record-keeping tool. It stores your receipts and warranty end dates on your phone, reminds you before a warranty ends, and makes a PDF you can share when you make a claim.
Your records, your responsibility
You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your original receipts where a maker or shop requires them. Your records exist only on your phone. Android backup is off, so if you lose the phone, uninstall the app or use Delete all data, your records are gone unless you exported them. Export a copy if it matters to you.
Reminders
Reminders depend on your phone's notification settings and operating system. They may arrive slightly off the scheduled time, or not at all if notifications are turned off. Don't rely on them as your only record of a deadline.
The one-time unlock
Proof is free for up to 3 items. An optional one-time purchase removes the limit. It is not a subscription. Payment and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms. You can restore the unlock from Settings → Restore purchase on a phone signed in to the same store account.
Acceptable use
Use Proof only for lawful purposes. Don't use it to create false receipts or make dishonest claims.
No warranty and limited liability
Proof is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for a missed claim, a lost record, a reminder that did not arrive, or a decision made on the basis of a date shown in the app.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version at this address before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
